Blood cholesterol and its related factors among Indonesian blood donors

Blood donation nowadays were considered to improve health status of the donors by declining human’s cholesterol level. The high level inside blood bags influenced quality. However, there was limited data about and its influencing factor on donors. This cross-sectional study aimed analyse associated factors levels in involved 120 respondents using purposive sampling as method. Data collected questionnaires examination. obtained analysed univariate bivariate statistic tests with significance α=0.05. found that majority aged 35-45 years (60.8%) male (60.8%). More than half routine donate their blood. Although they consumed foods, remained normal (88.3%). also had an association p=0.000, while other variables did not show any relationship. among frequent donation.
